Itinerario
Comenzamos nuestro tour recogiendo en el horario a los
pasajeros en cada hotel para luego dar inicio a nuestro
programa visitando el tradicional distrito de Barranco.
BARRANCO
En nuestro recorrido apreci·remos el Parque Central, la
Bajada de los Baños, la Antigua Biblioteca, los “ranchos” o
casonas coloniales, el tradicional Puente
de los Suspiros y su famoso Boulevard que es la expresión
más bohemia de la diversión nocturna en Lima.
SITIO ARQUEOL”GICO DE PACHACAMAC
Continuando con nuestro recorrido tomaremos la carrete-
ra Panamericana Sur, para arribar a Pachacamac, el m·s
importante centro ceremonial de la costa del Per ̇ en
Èpocas pre-hisp·nicas. AquÌ podremos apreciar sus
diversas construcciones hechas en barro que datan de
diferentes siglos. A lo largo del tiempo.
Entre las construcciones que visitaremos destacan: el
Templo de Adobitos (siglo I DC), el Templo Viejo de
Pachacamac (siglo I DC), el Templo Nuevo o Pintado
(siglo VIII DC), las Pirámides con rampa (siglo XIII DC), el
Templo del Sol (siglo XV DC), entre otras importantes
construcciones. Pachacamac cuenta adem·s con un
museo de sitio donde se exhiben las cer·micas y tejidos
encontrados; asÌ como la imagen del Ìdolo de Pachaca-
mac hecho en madera que fue hallado durante el trabajo
de excavación en 1938.
Finalizando nuestro recorrido regresaremos al hotel.
Itinerary
We begin our tour picking up the passengers at each
hotel on time and then start our program visiting the
traditional district of Barranco.
BARRANCO
On our tour we will appreciate the Central Park, the Bajada
de los BaÒos, the Old Library, the «ranchos» or colonial
houses, the traditional Bridge of Sighs and its famous
Boulevard, which is the most bohemian expression of
nightlife in Lima.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF PACHACAMAC
Continuing with our tour we will take the Panamericana
Sur highway, to arrive at Pachacamac Museum, the most
important ceremonial center of the
Peruvian coast in Pre-Hispanic times. Here the ceramics
and fabrics found are exhibited; as well as the image of
the idol of Pachacamac made of wood that
was found during the excavation work in 1938.
Among the buildings that we will visit are: The Temple of
Adobitos (1st century AD), The Old Temple of Pachacamac
(1st century AD), The New or Painted
Temple (8th century AD), The Pyramids with ramp (13th
century AD), The Temple of the Sun (15th century AD).
